You have a bad water valve on the washer.sediment gets into the valve, when the valve goes to close it can't from sediment inside it.change out the valve and you'll be fine.
How do I get to the sediment valve
you have to shut off the water going to the washer, remove the two hoses and mark them so when you install the new valve you'll know how to hook up the water lines again.unplug the washer, remove the top of the washer, three screws in the back and you'll see the valve, there might be one screw holding the valve in place, just remove the screw, pull out the old valve and install the new valve the same way you took out the old one.it's a water valve not a sediment valve, the sediment is the dirt and rust in the water lines, sometimes it gets stuck inside the valve and damages it internally.
also you have to remove the wires just remember where they go,it's just two harnesses that you pull off of the hot and cold solenoids. i think one is red and one is blue
Ok thank you I should be able to go to sears and get the valve shouldn't I
