My 6.5kg LG Fuzzy logic toploader stops spinning when it has 3 minutes left to the spin cycle and then goes back to the rinse cycle filling up the washer with water. It repeats this. At three minutes left of spinning goes back to rinse. It continues this indefinitely until manually stopped. I've been told it is because of uneven weight distribution but the machine worked fine for a month. I never do big loads.

There are no error messages. There is some unusual clicking when it changes from the rinse to spin cycle.

SOURCE: LG Top Loader Fuzzy Logic 5.5. The water

Hi,
No you just need to get the drain hose up higher...the water is siphoning out and is either caused by the end of the drain hose still in water and not having an air gap or the hose is not going up higher then the top of your washer...
Lifting the hose up should give you an air gap and get the hose high enough to stop the siphoning...

SOURCE: my toploader "fuzzy logic" 6.5kg

Hi.

If there is no spin, c licking noise before spin may come from a relay in control module, from lid switch motor, or from the fuzzy logic control unable to start drain pump. This last problem may occur because of residual water inside the machine tub.

You should run a diagnostic cycle. The procedure is explained in user manual. LG should use the following:

Press Spin and Temp. and Power buttons simultaneously to enter diag. mode.

At the end of the process you should get an error code that will tell you what the problem is. If there is a code already, then please let us know the code.

Hi i have an LG 5kg Fuzzy logic top loader and it will wash and fill the water but wont rinse or spin it does not beep or anything it just stops and the time displays stays on the same numbers and i can...

Need to check during the wash cycle that the power goes to the motor during the rinse or spin cycle. Try and see if you can manually go to the spin cycle without the fuzzy logic. If so the program controller unit is a suspect as the microprocessor internal memory is faulty and executes the program with error or no output.
