Information on your product, inlcuding a link to the Manual may be found here:

A high quality bar and chain oil or SAE30 weight motor oil should be used for chain and bar lubrication.

The use of a vegetable based bar and chain oil is recommended when pruning trees. Never use waste
oil or very thick oil. These may damage your chain saw.

- Before first use and every ten minutes of use you must oil the product with the recommended chain oil. Open the oiling cover and insert the bottle into the oil filling hole apply pressure to the bottle once to dispense oil.

- This should be adequate for about 10 minutes of cutting depending upon cutting speed and type of wood.

- The hole feeds the oil through to the chain onto the chain bar and an excessive amount of oil applied to the unit could mean the oil drips from the unit around the jaw area. This is normal and is nothing to be concerned about.

There is a small hole under a black flap near the "jaws" Squirt some oil in there, I use a small oiler from harbor freight.
I also lube the chain with spray lube once in a while,
NEVER use Vegetable oil!! many will gumb the hell out of the device and a small amount of oil will help trees heal. I use atf/ or atf/used oil mixed (not too thick)-- works well.
Torque will kill the blade, never use where the blade is subject to any twisting action, balde will separate and it is a pain to find repalcements.

Can i sharpen chain

Yes, you can do it with a hand file or if you need to sharpen them often I would suggest an electric sharpener. There are models you can mount to your chainsaw or remove your chain and use a bench mounted sharpener. I would suggest looking at for your sharpening solutions.

Can I download a manual for the Alligator lopper?

Here is the page you are looking for. I was looking for this download also. Go top the link below, and when it opens up, on the left hand side there is a place that say's user manuals. Click that and the next page will ask you if you want an over view, or user guide, just click user guide. The next page will give you choices of which lopper you want, the electric, or cordless. Choose the one you want, and it will open a user guide for that model. There you go, I hope this helps. Here is the link

What type of oil I use

The Remington manual for model 111409-01 states: "This Pole Saw requires lubrication only to prevent rust on the guide bar and saw chain. The saw chain provided is pre-lubricated at the factory. With each use of the Pole Saw apply a small amount of lubricating oil directly to the saw chain (see Figure 8). The oil will distribute itself around the chain and guide bar groove during use?preventing rust. We recommend using SAE #30 motor oil for lubrication and rust prevention."

Just need to know what kind of oil to put in the chain. Bar and Chain or 30W?

Bar & Chain oil is recommended and works best, however SAE 30 oil will also do the trick in a pinch.

Chain comes off alligator lopper

The chain slipping out of its groove is common with this lopper. We have two of them and the chain pops out of both of them. I noticed that it occurs mostly during horizontal cuts, so I try to be extra careful during those cuts because gravity tends to pull the chain off. There is less trouble with vertical cuts. One reason for the chain coming off is that it lacks tension. There is no way to adjust the tension to make the chain tighter. That is done automatically by a spring. Black and Decker have to review the design of their lopper, which is a great tool. At Lowes I was told that there was a clearance sale on all their B
