The lock is a latch connected to a temperature sensitive bi-metallic spring that locks the door when HOT and releases it when it cools to a safe level. Self cleaning ovens reach over 500F in cleaning mode.
If it's been a few hours and the door is cool it should open. If not, press the door closed a bit and whack the top of the stove with your hand. It may be stuck or gummed up as that part does not get cleaned during the cycle.
You may be able to raise the top of the burner deck like the hood of a car and see some part of the locking mechanism and be able to get the door open. Replace the lock.
