Difficulty reinstalling my HP Deskjet F300

Uninstalled printer to correct a printing problem put back on line. Difficulty reinstalling. Installation goes all the way through til last bit then states requires registry number. Bought the printer at walmart 3 years ago should this information already be logged in when I initially registered it. Please help never had this problem before. Cant find papers with this information and if there is another way to find registry. Also how do I resolve having to uninstall printer when I accidently run out of paper

Is there a registration number on your disc?

Do you have a folder left for the printer or did everything get deleted? You might look in the folder if it is still there to see if there is an informational page left.

Otherwise you need to contact HP. You can do that from
Once you are on their site, look oor support and click on the link to chat with one of their techs online. Have all of your info ready. the model and serial number of the printer. the name and address you used to register it under, etc.

Here is the link:

Good luck to you and be sure to let us know if this solution worked for you. Thanks.

When you click 'print' on your computer, change the printer-settings to "double-sided" or "print on both sides", and then click OK. The printer will do the rest.

HP Deskjet F300 stopped printing although it still copies...

Must be a driver issue, it will copie documents regardless of whether its connected to a pc or not. I would suggest you put the CD in your pc and reinstall the drivers.
