Question about Samsung Cameras

Open Question

Samsung AQ100 camera seems to freeze after taking a few pics. It is only 4 months old & this has happened three times within a week ! I have had to take the battery out even though the last photo I have taken is still showing on the screen. I am very anxious about this given that I only have the camera a very short time !!

SOURCE: Red Dots

You can get rid of the red dots by adjusting the V-scan voltage down, it's on the panel sticker inside the unit, you can find the test point on the DC to DC pcb, and the adjustment pot is on the same board, lower it as you watch the screen and only lower it enough to rid the screen of the dots

Double check for the correct path to where you are saving the pictures. Maybe the software is trying to save to a CD-ROM or other drive.

SOURCE: my camera beeps three times

I figured out your problem because i was experiencing the same thing. The memory card has a tiny white switch on the side of it that says "lock". I'm guessing you accidently moved it like i did. I hope i helped you :)

Can someone help me on my nikon D3100 freeze problem?

New battery that is fully charged. My Nikon D3100 has had the problem of freezing every ten or so pics since it was a couple of months old. Still does it today after six months of use. I take a few hundred pics with it when shooting but only shoot once or maybe twice a month.

Have to take the battery out, put it back in etc. each time. Sometimes it allows me to power off and then back on but either way it's a pain in the rear and a serious "time waster".

I HAVE A OLYMPUS CAMERA ONLY 4 MONTHS OLD AND I TAKE PICTURES GO BACK A FEW WEEKS LATER TO VIEW THEM ON THE CAMERA AND THEY'RE ALL GONE!!! WHAT'S GOING ON

review your manual in the "storing Pictures" section.
it might be something related to your card.
If it still acts up, you have a one year warranty under manufacturer. call Olympus.

Tv turns on w/pic then pic dissapears light blinks 4 times

I have the same issue, we've had to change our bulb three times in less than two years. now we have 61" expensive paper weight. Our current bulb is less than 6 months old. The TV is only 2 years old and like i said this is our third bulb.

the blue light blinks 4 times. you get sound. then a few minutes the the picture returns... then it goes out, and the cycle goes on.

A solution to this would be greatly appreciated.

Shuts off unexpectedly

Hi there.
Because the machine is only one month old i would recommend that you take advantage of the manufacturers warranty and send it in for repair, it won't cost you anything to do this as this sounds like a serious hardware problem or failure which is not of your doing.
Telling you to open the laptop will only void your warranty so this is not recommended.
Your computer will only be away for a week or so and i know it could be a pain not having it there, but for peace of mind this is the correct procedure.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!

Image problems - samsung L100

You can try a different memory card, but I don't think the problem is memory card, if pictures look scrambled, and colors and brightness are not uniform, that is either a problem with CCD sensor (optic sensor that takes the picture), or logic board.
In either case, this is not an easy repair.

Reset the camera to default settings from camera menu, and try a different memory card, but the camera will probably need to be sent in for repairs.

Camera Samsung L77 won't stay on anymore

This is not an elegant solution, but it seems to be working. (I might have read some one else mentioning it for another brand of Samsung camera). I hit the end of the camera where the attachment to the computer gets plugged in against the palm of my hand pretty hard about 6 times. Then I tried it and it worked! There is some logic there since it started having the problem right after I put it down on a soft surface from about three feet.(Ididn't really drop it, but tossed it there - gently, I thought - because my hands were full and I was starting to lose everything). In the future I will treat the camera a little more gently knowing that mechanism is somewhat easily knocked out of adjustment.

As you said, its 4 months old and assumed under warranty cover. Contact Sony Service Center for repair because if you try yourself, will void warranty.

It was suggested that you remove the batteries and memory card for about ten minutes, then replace. It worked for mine, and works great now.
