The keyboard should have a button underneath it. Press the button on the usb controller first and then the button on the keyboard. Repeat a few times to see if it connects. If you are still having trouble try another set of batteries as some batteries are not designed for wireless products.

CANT ENTER MY PASSWORD TO GET IN MY COMPUTER KEYS NOT TYPING ON SCREEN ITS LIKE THE WIRELESS KEY BOARD IS NOT RESPONDING

My advice would be to put new batteries in the keyboard and see if that works, failing that, pick up a wired keyboard and mouse to log in to your system then re-connect the wireless set to re-install the drivers.

Dell Wireless keboard model # RT7D40 not responding

You may need to press a button on the bottom of the keyboard or on the reciever portion to get it to reconnect. It will be a very small button, probably about an eighth of an inch, that appears level with the surface surrounding it. Use a straightened paper clip or ball point pen to press it. A pencil contains lead that could cause an electrical short between contacts, so don't use a pencil.

Wireless keyboard numbers on right not working and wireless mouse light not on

My Dell wireless keyboard doesn't work. I replaced the batteries in it and pressed the green button on the back of it then the button on the wireless thing plugged into the computer. That light blinks for a few seconds then stops but the keyboard still doesn't work. My wireless mouse works fine.

Keyboard is not working

Normal 0 Assuming that you have good batteries installed, turn the Keyboard over and locate the small reset/connect button on the back of the keyboard and press it. Then try to see if it is working. If not try pressing the button on the receiver and then on the keyboard. Try typing, should work okay.
Hope this helps. Bud

Keyboard not responding

The keyboard has probably died. (It happens often). Here's a great inexpensive combo to replace your current one. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-MK270-Wireless-Keyboard-Mouse/dp/B00BP5KOPA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1491364851&sr=8-1&keywords=Logitech-MK270-Wireless-Keyboard-Mouse
