I received a Kuerig coffee pot for Chrismas and about a month ago, it stopped brewing. It cycles the water as if it will brew and the brew ready light flashes, but when I press brew nothing happens. The coffee pot sounds as if the pump is having an issue. If I unplug it and leave it unplugged for a minimum of 5 minutes, it will then brew, but the next time I want a cup of coffee or tea I have to repeat the process of unplugging, waiting 5 minutes, then press brew. I love my Keurig, but this is really becoming a nuisance. I haven't had the machine 6 months, I hope I won't have to replace it already. It's an expensive machine and I can't afford to buy another Keurig so soon. Thanks.
The lights are all flashing. I have unplugged it hoping it would reset but as soon as I plug it back in they begin flashing again. The lights are all flashing. I have unplugged it hoping it would reset but as soon as I plug it back in they begin flashing again.

You should check to insure that the tank inside the machine is full of water. Pour in 1 pot of water at a time until you get water to come out of the brew basket. If you haven't done any internal damage it should be ready to brew a pot of coffee inabout 20 minutes.
mcdevito75 here, Your Mr. Coffee may need cleaning, here"s how, Fill the resovoir with white vinegar, cycle thru the machine 3 times, half way thru the 3rd time stop 1/2 way thru and turn off machine for 30 minutes, then recycle. After that rinse your Mr, Coffeee by cycleing thru fresh water each cycle takes another resovoir of fresh water to get rid of the vinegar. If this is not the problem, maybe the pump is shot. Contact Mr. Coffee by phone or online at Mr. Coffee.com or replace the machine.
The brewer has not had enough time to reach its operating temp (usually 7 mins after a brew cycle). If that is not hte case then the machine needs to be descaled.
you need to run a few pots of straight white vinegar through the machine to clean out the lime build up in the tubes. the first time you do it, after it starts to pump the water, shut it off for a few hours and let the vinegar sit in the tubes. after doing this run a few pots of cold water through before making coffee.
We were having the same problem of it quitting the brew cycle about 1/2 way through. We put a mixture of 5 cups vinegar & 5 cups water through followed by a pot of just water and now it works like new. The vineagr must clean some sort of built in sensor.
Loosen the charcoal filter. You only need to GENTLY place it in. Your problems will all be solved. I just did it 5 minutes ago and i just brewed a 6 cup pot of coffee completely.
These macines have an internal water heater that should be clened periodicly (monthly per manufacturers instructions but I do it quarterly/semianually/when it gets noisy :) ). The machine will have to be disasembled to do this since the tank will have to be flushed when you do this to get the chemicals out of it (vs running a pot of vinegar through your Mr. Coffee machine at home), Depending on how much scale has built up in the tank this could take several cleaninings. Scale deposits can over time impair/damage the heater or thermostat but replacement parts are cheaper than a new machine and the machine will outlast and outperform a standard coffee maker. BTW, my 8572 3 burner was built in 1972, I bought it at a flee market for $25 10 years ago put $100 in parts to get the push to brew and hot water on tap working again and it made two great pots of coffee this morning.
Yup thats the Ticket - EASY FIX -
you have to clean the insides too people... lol.. The best way to do it is to buy citric acid crystals available from your local pharmacy. who knew huh? a couple of tablespoons in distilled water. Brew half the pot and let it sit for 30 min the brew the rest of the pot. Notice the color of your water after your done brewing. probably green from copper.. I could go into much more detail but thats the short answer... brew another pot or two of just plane ole water and bang your good go.. You should do this every month with any coffee pot for better tasting coffee..
