Ok well i used too play xbox live a long time agao.. and. well i got bored odf it soo i got with ps3.. and btw you guys are way better... anyways,., i wanted to recover my old gamertag bishopuser16.. ithe reason is is because it is soo hard too get new friends.. and i miss all my old friends on there.. i just never rememebered there gamertags soo please help me.. the only problem is.. i fogot my old password and email adress.. soo plzz can you help me or can you provide me with a number for costomer service plz

Hi the ps3 by far is the best console most of the adverts you see on tv for the xbox are taken from ps3 screen shots as the ps3 has a lot higher quality picture also the ps3 will outlast the xbox by a mile, i repair these for a living and say every 15 xbox 360 i fix in only get say 2 ps3 so the xbox is prone to faults and is not up to the quality of the ps3 and also now ps3 have bought out their move feature which means it has the same ability as the Wii but with 100 times better quality.
such as you could play archery or golf and it looks like real life where as the Wii is more cartoon like.

go for the ps3 you wont regret it trust me.

dude try to get a 360 its soo much better and they are very cheap. its not even worth fixing if ur xbox is broke.

1. With your Xbox powered down, take an Ethernet cable and plug it into a numbered port on the router, and plug the other end into the Xbox.
2. After you have your Xbox connected to the router, start up the Xbox without a CD in the tray.
3. After you start the unit, you should arrive at the “Xbox Dashboard”. Select the Xbox Live option and press the “a” button on the controller.
4. After “Xbox Live” loads select the Network Setup and press the “a” button your controller.
5. On the “IP Address” settings, you can choose “Automatic” or “Manual”, make sure it’s Automatic.
6. Select the Connect option and press the “a” button on the controller.

Both consoles have advantages.
The Xbox 360 has a vast array of titles and has the biggest fan base of the two. If you connect the console to the internet, you can download games and movies through Xbox Live. You can also connect your PC to your Xbox 360 and use the console as a multimedia center using Windows Media Center.

The PS3 has a blu ray drive as standard, so you can watch blu ray movies through your PS3. DVD's are also upscaled up to 720p to improve the look of your movies. The PS3's online service is free, and allows you to download game demo's and downloadable content for games.
The Xbox 360's disadvantages are the fact you need to pay for access to Xbox Live, roughly £40 per year, but it does guarentee a reliable online service. Also earlier and cheaper models of the Xbox do not support full HD via HDMI.
The PS3 is very expensive and lacks quality titles. The console is also on a 10 year plan, so even though the console will outlast its rivals, it is likely to become outdated.
If you want to watch blu ray films and play games occasionally, go for the PS3. If you want a console with a lot of titles and a reliable online service,  get the 360. Of the two I'd choose the 360, but in 2 years or so I might need to reconsider.

a very interesting dilema!! the ps3 does have controllers with rumble now..
problem with the xbox is frequent hardware failures needing replacements,i had three!!the live experience is unbeatable!
the ps3 has better graphics though people would contest that..games are much less compared to xbox..offlate bluray laser errors are occuring..i had too..paid 7000 rupees for that..
with a psp u could control the ps3 which is a cool thing but not really useful..ps3 offers a media card support.
both are good as media extenders and u could stream content..both now support divx..both have HDMI connectivity though not in all xbox models
if u buy a ps3 make sure u get warranty for it in the place u live..i got mine from US and had no such luck with sony..
so make the right choice!! i could clarify any doubts u may have..
PS: i have all four! and i love the ps3 a shade more than the xbox360

Return under warranty, ps3 uses a high powered blu ray laser that can melt the lens after extensive use, sony is working on a fix and will repair this for you for free unless you have opened the case.

I suggest you use a Router, the Xbox 360 have had some issues with Crossover Cables. A cheap $10 switch or router will help you play your fun game of prey. And Halo 3 is coming out in September, I'll be getting it and I hope you will too.
