The DMP-BD55 does not support a wireless internet option. However, you can connect it to a wired port on your router (or a wired switch that connects to your router).
I pulled up the specifications for the bd85 Blu-ray player. It says below that it has an rj-45 network connection. That means, although it says that it is WiFi ready, that it requires an additional WiFi Adapter of some sort to operate with Wifi. Or you could connect it directly to your router or switch using rj-45 cable.

What is the problem? Are you having problem finding the router you are trying to connect to? Are you having problem connecting the player to a router in your flat? you need to find the routers name SSID when you scan for the right signal. Most of the time the SSID (routers name) and the web key (Routers security key) to your router is marked under the router. you need to make sure that you have chosen the right router when you have scanned the signal to the Panasonic DYWL10 Wireless LAN Adapter. then the rest should be easy. I hope it helps!!.
Just bought an ex-demo BD65 bluray player and the shop have left their demo blu-ray in it, when I press eject it says 'lock' on the display read the manual but no luck and I can't get hold of the shop as they are engaged all the time, any ideas
If your player is connected to the internet then you need to check your wireless router. You could first try power cycling the router by unplugging the power cord from the back of your wireless router for 15-30sec or get a paper clip and hit the small reset pin hole on the back of the router. If your still getting this message then you need to find out what wifi security phrase or code is on your wifi router either you have WEP or WPA-PSK security code for your home network. The access point is your wireless router or Modem. If you do not remember or have the passkey then you need to contact your internet router/modem manufacture.
