Packard bell easynote M5284 - black screen after installing new RAM

Sounds like the memory is incompatible with the laptop. Remove the memory and install orginal memory and boot again to see if every works correctly.. If so then either a memory module is bad or motherboard wont support the new memory (size or type)

How do i increase memory in a Packard Bell Easynote mit gha20 laptop

Upgrading the RAM on the Packard Bell BG45-U-300 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEBJfLx9Kzk this might not be your specific laptop it might give some insight into ram upgrade If you're not sure if a module is right for your system, use the Crucial Memory Advisor tool for a list of guaranteed compatible modules. First you will need to select the manufacturer from a drop down list then select your product line from a drop down list then select the model then click find it will take you directly to compatible ram also you will have an option to scan your system. You should always ask for a guarantee on the compatibility before making any purchase and try to buy for working pairs if possible.

Packard bell easynote m5306 , model : MIT-GHA20 i need to download : NETWORK ADAPTER (1394 net adapter) PCI modem

Always get your drivers and specific software from the manufacturer of your Laptop, Notebook or Desktop. They are usually free of charge.

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, usually one is able to download if available, by model number, All available Driver downloads as required.

If the driver is not available, perhaps your manufacturer does not support the OS you are installing.

This is the best way of ensuring up to date drivers for your system and they are free of charge!

I hope this helps.

Upgrading Memory on Packard Bell MIT GHA20

If you look along the top edge of the escape/function/del keys, there are several small plastic tabs that hold the keypad in place. Use a very small flat head screwdriver to push these back from one corner across to the other, gently lifting the keypad as you go. When you press back the last tab, the keypad should just pop out but take care as it's connected by a cable at the bottom edge of the keys. The RAM slots are located under a thin metal cover under the keypad. You'll need a very small philips head screwdriver to undo this. After installing RAM, replace the metal cover then pop the keypad back in, bottom edge first and just press down the top edge and the plastic tabs should snap back into place. Hope this helps!
