How can I send designs from my PC to my Toyota 830 embroidery machine when my Pantograms software/hardware is no longer working?

Some of the Pantograms software programs require a USB dongle connected to the computer. However, the driver for this dongle has to be installed before you install the software or connect the dongle. I suspect you may not have installed the driver or the dongle is missing.

Assuming that the dongle is connected:
Close your embroidery software program and all of the Pantograms software, including the Network C software, on your computer and remove the USB device. Put the software install CD into your machine's optical drive. (If your new machine doesn't have an optical drive, get a USB optical drive or copy the files from the CD to a 1GB+ USB flash drive at another computer with an optical drive.) If Windows XP starts the autorun routine for the CD, click Exit. Then double-left click on My Computer to launch File Explorer. Go to the CD drive (or USB drive if you used the work-around) and double-click on it. Open the Rainbow Drivers folder and then open the XP folder. Double click on the program: setup.exe . Choose Complete install as the program executes. Then close File Explorer when the install is done. Now insert the USB dongle and follow the on-screen message about New Hardware found to install the Rainbow driver from C: .

If you do not see the New Hardware found message, try putting the dongle into a different USB port. (Make sure to avoid USB hubs - they can add to USB device issues.) If the dongle doesn't work at any port, you may need to use a different method. There is a flash reader available for connecting a USB flash drive to the Toyota 830 here: http://www.plrelectronics.com/lab/usb_reader.php . (Scroll down to the Toyota machine section. This isn't cheap but it is cheaper than some of the newer embroidery software packages.)

I hope this helps.

How to Fix a Bluetooth Dongle in a computer

<p>Bluetooth devices connected to a computer system via a wireless signal, so that the desktop of annoying cables and wires to strip. Hooked hdmi dongle to projector. Used kindle fire hdx. Picture works fine but no sound from projector speakers. No sound from kindle speakers. Need to use kindle headphone jack for sound.

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you
Check the system requirements on the Bluetooth dongle. If your system does not fit all the requirements, the device is not going to work. The requirements for the Bluetooth dongle are printed in the user manual and packaging. You may compare this to what is running on the computer by clicking "Start," "Control Panel" and "System." This displays the hardware running on the computer.

Disconnect the Bluetooth dongle, restart the computer, then plug it back into a USB port. If you power on the computer with the dongle already instead, the system may not detect the equipment. Restarting the computer and performing this action helps correct the problem.
    • 3
Remove the Bluetooth dongle from the USB port and plug it into a different connection. Some USB ports fail to detect certain computer hardware. Changing the connection port fixes this.

Install the driver on the provided driver installation CD. Without the driver, the computer is unable to detect and use the dongle. Insert the driver installation CD into the disc drive of the computer, then follow the on-screen steps to install the driver onto the system.

Husqvarna #1+ Dongle Not working with my computer.

You probably need to install the XP drivers for the dongle. I don't have the exact website at my fingertips (brain tips?) right now, but if you visit Jan Henning's Sew Much 4 Retirement website I think she has it amongst her Tips section. I had a similar problem years ago, but solved it by putting the installation CD into the computer, not running the automatic Install, then opening the program. It then goes looking for the dongle driver on the CD. This solution does not work for everyone, some need to download the drivers off the internet.

Vodaphone 3g dongle doesnt work in new acer aspire one netbook, what do i do

You need to install the drivers first.

If the drivers were provided on a separate CD just run the CD.

If the drivers are already inside the dongle, go to MY Computer (Computer on Vista) there you will find the dongle listed as a new removable disk (flash memory), run the program contained on the dongle disk to install it.

If you get in trouble you can have it done for free at the desk at any vodafone shop (try when they are not too busy).

Installing a bluetooth dongle

Hi there,

Could not find your dongle drivers anywhere but try the Blue Soleil software. The free version is a bit limited, when unlicenced, but unless you are transferring large amounts of data it should suffice. This software should work with any make of dongle.

Problem setting up a dongle to my PC

NEVER install the dongle before the CD.

What has happend is windows has automatically installed your dongle with the wrong driver.

Try this.

Keep your dongle plugged in.

Goto start > control panel

Click system

Along the tab at the top select hardware, now click device manager.

Find your dongle, it should be under 'network adapters' (if you are not sure if it is the right one, unplug it at this point. If it dissapears from device manager - that is the one)

Now, click on it in device manager and press delete. Click OK to deleteing the driver.

Now, follow these steps carefully:

Unplug the dongle.

Restart the computer.

Start installation from CD

Only plug in the dongle when it tells you to, or the installation is complete.

Hope this helps
