Try This:
Windows XP
Accessing Device Manager using Control Panel
1] Press the
Start button.
2] Go to
Settings, a new menu will pop out to the right.
3] Click on
Control Panel.
4] When the control panel comes up, find the
System icon and open it up.
5] When the
System properties box opens, click on the
Hardware tab.
6] You should see your '
Device Manager' button here. Click It.Expand your 'Network Adaptors' from this list, as shown below, using the
[+] box.
Now locate your Wireless device, right-click it and select uninstall.
**If prompted, DO NOT uninstall your drivers also**Now right-click your machine name at the top (I have blacked mine out in the above image for obvious reasons) and select the '
Scan For Hardware Changes' option from the menu.
Let it settle, reboot.
Windows Vista &Windows 7
Start>Right click Computer>Manage>Device Manager
Complete the steps from above to locate and uninstall Network Adaptor.
