There are many documented cases of this router being ****. How old is it? If you can return it do that. If not, get yourself a linksys. I know they are bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for.
Try this use your vacuum to suck out any dust that is in machine from front and back. Use compressed air (duster used on electronics) and spray the cd area and back area again, vacuum out. If this doesn\'t help then Call Sony PlayStation for replacement of machine.
I am convinced there is supposed to be a seal of some type on the little plastic doot that closes up over teh openindg. MY ice maker has never worked right, it freezes up, the dispenser doesn't work and it leaks.
Hi, What do you mean your computer is freezing? If it's the operating system that is freezing then it's highly doubtful that it's the new router which is at fault. If the computer is slow and unresponsive then clear your internet cache, perform a defrag and also check the drive for any errors.
To clear the internet cache right click on internet explorer and select properties from the list. In the general tab where it says browsing history click on delete and follow the on-screen messages.
To perform a defrag click on the start menu then all programs, accessories, system tools and the disk defragmenter.
To check the disk for any errors click on computer, right click on local disk c and select properties, select the tools tab and check the volume for errors. Make sure you check both boxes to fix any errors found and then be patient as it cane take some time to complete.
If the problem is the internet which is freezing then perform a speed test on your internet connection and compare the speed to what your supposed to be getting. You can perform a speed test here >>>>>>
If the speed isn't what it's supposed to be then of course get your own router. I do recommend Netgear myself as i will only have them routers for my own personal use.
Typically, freezing is caused by Spyware, Malware or memory.
First, install and run Spybot and Malwarebytes. If still a problem, power off your system and remove all the memory modules. Install one at-a-time and boot your system to see which module is problematic. Hope this helps.
Your first step is to upgrade the firmware. OR re-install the firmware.
Do you mean freezing like, lights lock up and stay on regardless of the activity? Which that would point to firmware. Or do you mean that your internet just cuts out? Which I would look more towards your computers browser, possible background applications or even the NIC.
