Question about Durabrand DUR7 Portable DVD Player
Player plays in car on 12v adapter cord, but battery does not charge, input jack is marked DC in 9v or 12v car, does this player only charge via ac current, is there some sort of logic/protection looking for 9Vdc to prevent overcharge ??? and possibly any 115ac to 9Vdc charger will work???
The 12 volt car adapter only puts 9v to the dvd player. It is poorly marked. It really only runs on 9v. If you plug 12v into it it will smoke... thats what mine did.

The AC adapter operates on AC 100-240V ~50/60Hz (DC Out: 9V; DC
Current: 2.0A minimum
Your best, quickest bet is to check with a place like a Radio Shack who may have a universal adapter with the correct fittings to plug into your player.
