You need to use the supplied Sansa Media Converter program to convert videos (and photos) to a format the Sansa can handle. If you've misplaced the SMC, you can download the Windows version from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3IPZO6Q0

Unsupported media/incorrect parameters

It is a poor quality player. It probably isn't built-to-last and as I can see, has problems. Try going into My Computer and right click it, Format it and select all the songs and drag onto the player and see what happens.

Unable to add avi files to to media library

hey,

you won't be able to sync the avi file because your type of avi is not supported in the Zen

if you have the creative software on your computer well go
into the menu and select creative, because I don't have it in front of me I can't tell you where this is though all you have to do is search through and look to find "video converter" it's as easy as that.
all you do is when you find this is browse for you file and say what format you want to format to and start formating. they will ask if you want to sync you finished file to your zen.

Igot converting problem, please help!

Well, I use a program called SUPER. You can get it at http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html. It doesn't automatically add the file to you player, but it converts just about anything. You could also try the Total Video Converter shareware, which you can download at www.download.com. It too converts most things, but I find that it is a lot easier to use. It doesn't automatically add the files either, but you can do that by going to my computer and clicking on the player icon, going in until you find the music folder, and copying and pasting the file in there.
