Maytag RSW2700 - S/N R923415 ... has stopped working and is blowing circut. When cirdut reset ,, fridge plugged back in .. blows circut. I have lowered the temp setting, unplugged everything else but the fridge, circut still blows. Notice the fridge running more often .. condensating on the freezer side. Larry

Hi, The compressor is not starting and blowing the circuit...
Many times a freezer and/or refrigeratordo not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many otherthings that can go wrong. If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing thencheck out the last two tips.

Maytag MSD2651HEW refrigerator not cool, freezer works fine. If open both doors, feel cold air blowing in refrigerator side
try keeping the freezer door shut while felling for cold air blowing over to refrigerator side..if so problem lies in the thermostat...its not sensing the correct temp for the fridge side and closing the damper too early...also check to see if there is frost built up on the back wall of the freezer section if thats the case then you are at the begining stages of a defrost issue and soon no cold air will blow over to fridge side..let me know what you find

FRIDGE IS BLOWING THE CIRCUIT BREAKER
Most likely you have a bad or weak circuit breaker. Consult an electrician for breaker change out. Make sure that it isn't hooked up with a GFI plug. They will not work on a GFI.

no shorts??? hmm well just to be sure take both hands and start mangling with the cord work your way up and if your controller reconnects when your doing this you will need to replace the chord. unplug your chord from your console blow in the USB circut where your controller plugs in there might be dust in the plug in blow in it really hard and pliug it back in if that doesent work plug it back in go to your controller USB settings and see if it has a signal from the chord Hope that helps:)

Maytag MSD2651HES fridge not cooling freezer works find
Sounds like a defrost problem. Check to see if there is any frost buildup in the back wall of the freezer. If so, it is not defrosting as it should.
  • possible causes:
  1. bad defrost timer
  2. bad defrost heater (in freezer)
  3. bad thermo switch in freezer
If you don’t know what these are then unplug the machine and let the ice melt in the freezer overnight with the door open. Then try it the next day, if is cooling fine then you need to have a service person replace one of the above items.

Maytag refrigerator model #MFD2561HEW, 2 years old, suddenly stopped cooling. Digital read out in fridge is currently reading 65 degrees
There is a fan in the back of the freezer(my was made in Korea) that blows air up to the fridge. I had a service tech replace mine but I would do it myself if it happened again. Its not hard to get to and is easy to replace.
