I have a side by side westinghouse fridge with water and ice dispencer. the springs that control the lever for ice dispencing are either of their hinges or fell off how do i get in there to fix it

Insert a pin in the slot under the lower edge of the trim, You should see 2 small holes, that will release the lock tabs, from there you can just pull the frame toward you, Inside you will be able to see the problem.

Look on the backside of the fridge for a small shutoff valve which may be turned off. Also, if your fridge has provisions for a filter, check for a clogged or missing filter. In either case, you will have to replace the filter.

Noise from fan on american samsung freezer resulting in water dispencer beside ice dispencer not getting water out but ice dispencer still workingwater dispencer stopped for weeks then the water dispencer...
sounds like fridge evaporator has over iced and then frozen the water chamber below it might just need a 48 hr defrost with doors open.

if able unplug for aout 3 minutes then plug back in (it should reset control unit) this should help

Water dispenser does not work
The lines are likely clogged and will need to be removed and cleaned. Otherwise, although the pump starts, the valve may be clogged or non-functional.

Do you hear it trying to draw water into the ice tray? If so, there might be an internal problem you can't fix yourself. especially since the fridge is dispencing water. Is the arm inside the ice maker pushe down? This is what tells the ice maker to fill and make the ice.

Ice will not dispense GE model GSL25IFRF BS
well if you trouble shoot the board at the back to see if you are getting voltage if you are then use a jumper on that conenctor and see if the auger motor runs or remove auger motor and check voltage there while pressing the lever for ice usually 100% of the time that board controls everyhting water and ice

Sid by side ice dsspencer and water dispencer(all the indicator light suddently are shut off) not working
you could have a problem with your dispenser module. a burnt pcb that could lead to all of your problems. switches not working, lights not working, dispenser not working, etc.

check your dispenser module and if you find a burnt part or a burnt PCB, then replace it.

Door dispenser stopped dispensing, starting making a constant clicking and now the entire fride isn't working
We had the same problem. Our frigerator is 1.5 year old. Everytime we try to dispence water or ice the dispencer clicks and the whole thing turns of. We had a GE repairman come by: the electronic board needs to be replaced: total cost $350. (cost of the board only: $150. We are considering disconnecting the dispencer by unplugging the board (according to the repain man the ice maker wil still work)or buy a new refrigurator (for sure NO GE!!!!!!)

Water Dispencer not working.
check your freezer for ice. do you have alot of ice in your ice maker tray? if so your water line could be frozen. try to self defrost the freezer for about 3hrs to thaw out the water line. check your water valve also. when you call for water do you hear a humming or buzzing noise? on ge fridges ive worked on if you hear a humming noise when calling for water, most likely your water valve is ok. trace the water. meaning where does the water start? at the wall then through a hose then to your valve which is behind fridge on bottom. trace the hoses and you will find the prob
