I have a tricity bendix dishwasher and it is not draining fully at the end of the cycle? If I run the dishwasher into a bucket the water pours out nice n strong. The waste pipe is not blocked, and I have run out of worktop to ensure pipe not kinked. What is wrong? I am happy to pay if your suggestion solves the problem. Mark

Check the fitting where the dishwasher hose connects to the drain. If it drains when disconnected, it is either kinking the hose when you put it back in, or the drain is plugged at the connection.

Check the drain hose and the drain lines, if you find no obstructions, then you have a defective drain pump.

If you find no problem with the drain lines, you may need to replace the pump.

If you enter model number here , you can find parts and diagrams.

SOURCE: Hello my tricity bendix dishwasher won't take

Hi

When the Dishwasher won't fill you'll need to check for the water inlet hose, the water inlet valve and the float switch assembly. When the water fills your dishwasher, a float rises along with it. As the float reaches a certain threshold level, it shuts off the flow of water, thereby preventing a leak. Sometimes the float can get stuck in the wrong position in your dishwasher, and it can prevent your dishwasher from filling. Sometimes it can happen due to float valve and on other occasions due to float switch. Inspect the water hose coming to the dishwasher for any blockages. If the hose is not clogged then check the water inlet valve for any clogs, if the water will not even fill for few seconds then certainly the water inlet valve is bad and should be replaced. You can also use a multimeter to check continuity on inlet valve. If you don't get any value on the multimeter then you'll need to replace the water inlet valve assembly. However, if the valve is fine then the float switch assembly should be replaced. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

Water is not draining

First, Is any water draining? If yes, look for restrictions or siphoning back into the machine. Hair and paper are common restrictions on the anti-siphon/overflow device. It's' on the sink top. Remove the cap, take a long nose pliers to remove the inner top plastic piece. Remove the junk - hair, paper, etc. Put a inverted cup and run the drain cycle. Move junk and water will come out. Re- assemble. Also check for kinks in the drain hose(s). Also clean out the filter and screen in the dishwasher. Watch out for broken glass. If new garbage disposer, make sure the knock out plug was remove -- should see water enter from the dishwasher. If you don't have an anti-siphon device, get one. Otherwise drain water will back into the dishwasher.

I have an E39927 Type 776-0 dishwasher. The problem began this week, in that water does not fully drain from the dishwashwer following the end of any of the washing cycles. The unit seems to be...

disconnect the drain hose from under the sink. place it into a bucket and put the dishwasher to drain. if it drains in the bucket fine then you know you have a problem with your drain. if it doesnt drain, then the problem is most likely the drain pump

I have got DWN 38 L Bendix dishwasher, problem is that during the wash cycle water starts to come under the washer. To ,me it looks like it can't take the water out.

If water is collecting under the dishwasher then there could be a few reasons.
1. door gasket is leaking - check for defect and replace if required
2. the wash or drain pump could be leaking water. Seals are not sitting properly or drain hose is cracked.

Solve Your

I have spent most of the afternoon looking for the float etc. In frustration I upended the machine to look for the inlet hose point, water started pouring out so I put the machine back in the upright position. Now it's filling with water and working again. Maybe there was something in the hose which became free with upending it. Not sure, but worth a try, it worked for me!

Dishwasher stuck in cycle tricity bendix DH 104

if this is stopping early in the cycle, the timer has just moved a little before it stops then it is highly likely to be a heater fault, check the element for open circuit, this can be accessed from under the machine, work with safety,
