Jenn-Air Expressions cvgx2423b manual request

I have a Jenn-Air Expressions cvgx2423b model with the same problem of one burner not working and have reviewed the solutions and found the igniter part # 71002724. Now I need instructions for the DIY repair as a manual is now unavailable through the manufacturer. Any suggestions on where to get a manual or assembly instructions without using a technician?
Thanks

I have the same model with the same problem. The replacement is simple. Remove the burner cap (no tools needed) Take a large crescent wrench and remove the large center nut holding the burner assembly in place. The ignitor will slide out of the assembly once it is removed. Good luck

Jenn-Air Expressions Downdraft Gas Stovetop Model CVGX2423B - Unable to Get Nut Off Burner Base to Replace Igniters

It is possible to use WD-40 to help loosen the nuts, but it may not be enough on its own to remove them. Here are some steps you can try to remove the nuts:
  1. Turn off the gas supply to the stovetop and unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
  2. Use a wrench that fits the nut snugly and try turning it counter-clockwise to loosen the nut.
  3. If the nut is stuck, try spraying a generous amount of WD-40 onto the threads of the nut and let it sit for a few minutes.
  4. After the WD-40 has had a chance to penetrate the threads, try turning the nut again with the wrench.
  5. If the nut still won't budge, try gently tapping the wrench handle with a hammer to help loosen the nut.
  6. If all else fails, you may need to call a professional technician to remove the nuts safely.
It's important to note that improper removal of the nuts could cause damage to the stovetop or cause a gas leak, which could be dangerous. If you are unsure about how to proceed, it's best to call a qualified technician to help you.

Suddenly my Jenn air gas cooktop ignitors (all of them) do not click and spark, the model is CVGX2423B. I suspect it might be spark module fails, is that right?

It sounds like you need a new spark module which controls all of the burners. It is part number W10475147. It costs around $115.00!

Fisher and Paykel cooktop model # CE901 will not work at all. Went dead suddenly. All five burners dead. Electricity to the unit is tested and fine. Any ideas to trouble shoot?

Yes, it is the spark module. It needs to be replaced. Sometimes it's easy to reach and sometimes not. I am trying to get my hands on a Jenn AirJGD130ADB Repair Manual becasue I have the same problem.

1 burner flares and sputters

Hello. Chances are that something on the stove boiled over or got poured into that burner. take it off, soak it overnight in water with dishsoap added, then rinse it and let it dry before reinstalling it. Repeat the soaking in soapy water if necessary until the flaring, sputtering and black soot is gone. regards, Joe

Is it clicking? No...bad switch. Yes...check ignitor gap on that burner. The gap or the wiring is bad if it doesn't work.
