I have a dynex dest mic and it is not working

Poor signal.

The problem is probably the Dynex driver was not installed or the driver may be corrupted.
Try reinstalling the Dynex driver again.

I have the same problem, I however do not know what the solution is.

You may be using a laptop with a mic as well as having a webcam with a mic.
Try setting the webcam mic as default.

TEST SPEAKERS
Right click on speaker icon in System Tray or from Control Panel
Select "Playback Devices"
The speaker icon ( checked as working) and volume level graph should be visible
Right click on the volume graph and click "Test"
Left hand speakers followed by right hand should be heard

SET DEFAULT & TEST MIC
Click "Recording" tab.
To set required (webcam) mic as default - click on mic font to highlight and click "Properties"
In lower dropbox display "Use this device enable" click 'OK'
Click "Levels" tab and ramp up sliders ( adjust to suit later)
Return to "Recording". Test mic by speaking and make sure volume graph displays

Restart computer

Throw it in the trash. Never buying a dynex product again.

Most of the time this is a driver related problem. Did you check the device manager to see if the audio device has problems? Try updating the driver for it if you can find a newer driver.
Of course always try a virus scan and spyware scan, as some viruses cause BSOD errors are well.

You can check the event viewer for details, and see if that helps you further. Analyzing the details of the the blue screen error helps to isolate the real cause.
