Document failed to print - Office Equipment & Supplies

First step in this kind of issue is check the data cable is properly socketed.
Second step is perform a copy operation directly from the printer. If this fails your issue is printer or cartridge, so swap out the cartridge and retry. If still no copy - your printer has an electronics fault.
Step three is try a document ( D2) from a different application (App2). If it prints the new document (D2) - your issue is with the original document (D1) or the application (App1) printing from. Try printing a different document (D3) from the original application (App1). If document D3 prints from App1 - the fault is in the document D1, and if document D3 fails to print - the fault is in App1.

the pc will display failed to print document if the pc and the print dont have connectivity, or you might have problem with the pc.

try this: turn off your printer unplug from the power outlet and at the baCK of the printer, restart your computer and after five minutes plug your printer back on and give the print.

If it's just one document that fails, it isn't the printer.
Something is not set up correctly in that document.

Get it printed anyway that you can.

Try reinstalling the printer driver, make sure you uninstall it first.

Try to clear your printer's queues up messages of all print commands that failed to print. See, what happens it when you send a document to printer, if it fails to print, and you send another, it queues up behind the first that failed to print. So instead of printing the second document it prints what you are seing, special characters etc. 

Solution:
Go to start/priners and faxes and right click on your printer and select open. You will all the documents for print so far queued up. select and delete them. Restart your system and the printing should be Ok.

please check that u select the proper printer before preceeding for print command. Also check that the printer connected to ur system is ur default printer.
