Hi, see page 205 of the manual:

http://www.eclipse-web.com/eu/en/download/manual/cd8445e_e/audio/pdf/8445ae99.pdf

Just plug your player into the RCA inputs and press "DISC MS" until "AUX" appears in the display.

How do I get the MP3 player to work in a 2007 Nissan Quest?

you said CAN , i bet you meant CAN'T or CAN NOT. right?
the AUX port is just a line input, analog audio input,
it dont know MP3 .
it only amplies the analog audio found there.
you connect any device, to AUX. push play on the device.
then put car radio in to AUX input mode and play. the audio.
that is all there is to it.
the external device does all the heavy lifting, reading a file, and decoding it (mp3 decode) and then sends raw analog audio out.

the cable is sold and radioshack, or walfart or many other stores,
Target, most MP3 players, come with this cable,
they use mini phone plugs, stereo, type,. (3 contacts)

Cannot get my mp3 player to operate on the aux input consistently

I have a 2002 Pontiac Montana and I use a 2 pronged RCA plug at one end with a yellow plug and a white plug, and the other end is one plug to use for the MP3 player. Plug your RCA plugs into the bottom 2 plugs. My RCA plugs on my cord are yellow and black the yellow one is in the middle
plug and the black in the bottom one and I use the AUX input for my MP3 player. I have a SANSA
and a Ipod and they both work fine. I hope this helps. Just a FYI so you don't think your radio is
going whacko after you do get the MP3 player to work the AUX will always come on first and you will have to push the AM/FM button on the dash or the steering wheel to get the radio or DVD back on.
And the DVD player will have to be switched on for the AUX to play the MP3 player.
Have fun...

Need to use Aux function with Satellite Tuner installed.

Yes, you will need to consult your owners manual (if you don't have one try Kenwoods website). AUX functions are turned ON during initial setup (like when you set the time).

Jensen cd 2610 aux input has little volume

first of all the rca jacks in the back of your radio are for plugging in an amp, not your mp3 player. there should be an auxiliary jack(looks like a headphones jack) in the front of the head unit. if there is no auxiliary jack in the front then you will have to go buy a new head unit with an auxiliary jack.

Eclipse CD8445 Clock Problems

First off who installed the radio?
If you or a friend did you ned to make sure that 12+ always is supplied to the radio and is hooked to the appropriate wire on the radio. If it does have 12+ always and it is hooked up correctly a replacement of the radio is in order, however I bet the wireing to the radio is crossed or the radio itself is uncorrectly installed.

The reason is the accessory and 12+ always wire has been crossed or was never there to begin with.

Sony XR-C350 Car Stereo - can't use cassette adapter for ipod!

For Sony radios you need an aux Bus adapter called the Sony XA 300. It works with the Bus IN RCA, and there whould also be another plug spot for the Bus power and signal interrupter. That is how the Sony knows to access that port.
