Question about Soyo Televison & Video

I have a Soyo wall mount television. The on/off switch is not working. I cannot turn the television on. Is this an economically fixable problem?

Make sure it's not plugged into a busted outlet/fuse!! Also see if the remote makes anything happen.

I have SOYO MT-+SYTPT3227AB TV and cannot locate mounting holes to wall mount the TV.

This TV is not Wall Mountable as the Control Box protrudes and is therefore not suitable for a VESA Wall Mount.

My TV just turned off and the red power light started to blink, why?

In most cases this error will dissapear by switching your television off at the wall and then switching tv on (via power button on TV front/side panel) "Whilst still switched off at wall outlet"

This will discharge all capacitors inside the TV

Now turn TV power button off then switch back on at the wall outelt then try to resume watching TV.

This solution may clear the blinking red light however if it does not it could be a more serious issue such as a blown fuse or even blown control circuit on the TV, In this case you should decide whether a repair is economical or to replace the TV.

This solution is based assumption this a CRT television and not an LCD.

What screw do I remove from the back on my soyo 32" to mount ??

the screws are already removed the should be plugs little ccircles on the back to remove for a wall mount if not check the tv manual

Remove Back plate screws and match up the holes on the wall mount device with the holes on the back of your television. Attach the television to mounting devise, Then mount both to the wall. Hope this helps you with your problem.

Lg lcd tv screen goes black but the sound still works 52lg70 screen goes blank, sound still works. i can change settings but cannot see the menu so the tv is still working there is just no picture.

This sounds like a mainboard problem. Unless you do not see a back light flash when you turn on the TV, which may mean it is an inverter board problem, this is most likely fixable by replacing the mainboard.

Hello you remove the last four screws on the back of the tv located down at the bottom theres two on each side the stand will slide out...
