When I put a new 4 gallon bottle of water onto the dispenser there always seems to be a problem dispensing the water. The water doesn't seem to be flowing into the machine.. I have tried draining the machine and starting again but this always seems to be a problem. I am having to lift the water bottle and manually dispense the water :(

Hi lorna. i suspect that there is a partial blockage in the water's pathway. When it is convenient for that pathway to be checked, use a flashlight, and some pipe cleaners, and perhaps a pair of needle nosed tweezers or pliers to remove that blockage. Joe

get a gallon of RV antifreeze (it is not toxic)
put it in cabinet where the water bottle goes, connect the intake hose to the antifreeze bottle.. Then use the dispenser as normal till the antifreeze comes out both dispensors. When you go use it next time take the antifreeze bottle out, put in a regular water bottle and run the water till the antifreeze is gone.

I push the water dispenser and no water comes out but comes out at the bottom?

The hose to the water dispenser up front cannot be connected and it is spilling the water onto the floor when the solenoid is activated.

My Amana french door/bottom freezer is leaking water. Did the procedure with hot water the drain in back of the freezer, although it seemed clear of ice. That didn't help. The leaking stops when I...

Two possibilities:
1. A cracked plastic tube. These will leak whenever there's a call for water - either the chilled water dispenser, or re-filling the icemaker tray (two seperate tubes). Pay particular attention to anywhere the tubes are clamped to the chassis; anywhere they're routed near or under the refrigeration unit; and near the solenoid valve - especially if there's a tight loop in the tube there.
2. A bad (leaking) connection where one of the tubes exits the water valve. Again, these will leak whenever the valve is activated.

Those plastic tubes don't last forever. I've replaced many of them for the same symptoms. They're known to simply deteriorate with age.
Manuf's make good money selling replacement tubing kits.

I do most of my shopping online and liquid bleach sometimes doesn't ship without breaking. Is it OK to use dry or powder bleach? I have the whirlpool cabrio top load large capacity model.

It should be okay to use dry bleach, if you follow the instructions on the bleach. Some bleaches require dissolving in water first, others can be used dry.

In the last 2-3 months I have purchased 2 of the Sunbeam Combo Water Dispensers and both of them overflow. After setting the bottle in the ''no spill receptacle'' after awhile they will overflow around the...

I would say that the dispenser is at fault. These water dispensers use gravity to release the water and won't allow overflow. The air pressure in the bottle comes up through the dispenser as water flows out. Your dispenser is not seating against the bottle correctly. Look inside at the gasket material that the top of the bottle rests on when it is in the inverted position. That's where the problem lies. The leak is happening right there where the bottle rests down in the reservoir. Look at that seal, it's damaged. Leaking...
