I need the instructions on how to put a Simmons 600 power / 60 mm telescope together because I have never put a telescope together.

You will not find a manual for that telescope brand. However Meade telescopes has a web site with all of their telescopes--

They all assemble and are used in a similar fashion:

Try these two web site links and look under the REFRACTOR heading for a scope that looks similar to your scope.

alignment of the optics are critical. refractor telescopes refract light linearly as opposed to reflector scopes, which bounce light from mirror to mirror.

Sounds like you may have an obstruction blocking the passage of light.

Simmons 3*9 22 MAG scope

Hi,
I bought one SIMMONS 3*9 MAG 22 riffle scope from USA last month in $54 and fixed it on my .22 riffle with proper instruction. When I shooted 2-3 bullets, its + sign is moved from actual target.

I made the target and + again in sync and after shooting 3-4 bullets, its + changed the position. After consulting with some mechanic, he told me the SIMMONS telescope is manufactured in China and its acuracy is not upto the mark. He was advocating me to buy bushnell scope for my riffle.

Now I am confused and not able to identify how to fix this + movement problem in my scope.

Can anyone please help me on this ????

How do I dismantle a Simmons #1210 scope

That is an old Japanese spotter scope. I don't know if I would spend any time trying to fix it Back about a year ago they were selling for $35 dollars or so.

Simmons crib assembly problem

The necessary hardware should be listed in the assembly instructions. If you don't have those, then contact Simmons at 800-218-2741. All you need is the model number, which should be on the headboard, and they should be able to help you out for a nominal fee.

Can't see object with 6450 Telescope

You cannot use high power in those small telescopes. Only use the eyepiece with the largest number written on it.

I know the box said 600 power--- it was a complete LIE! The maximum magnification is 50 times aperture. You probably have something like a 2 inch lens. So 100 power is the maximum usable power.

Next time buy a telescope similar to this one:

Just found your posting kind of old but I hope this helps you--

Most of these small refractors assemble the same way-- so take a look at these Meade brand refractor manual and see if it helps you put it back together.
