In all seriousness consult your yellow pages for an electrician. Depending on the exact model the motor could be 208 volts, 230 volts, or 460 volts, and single phase or three phase electrical service, any of which will cause serious injury or death to anyone not familiar with commercial electrical systems.

On 230 volts you have 3 wires 2 are 115 volt and the third wire is ground. As long as you hook the ground wires together correctly the other wires don't matter. Usually the ground wire is either white or green. The black wires are hot (115 volts).

You need a single phase motor to do that. A 3 phase motor cannot be made to run on one phase.

it will need flushing the oil we use in reciprcating compressors is 2100

Did you change the 3 phase motor out with a single phase motor? A 3 phase motor cannot be made to run on single phase.

To convert your T-30 to single phase you will have to do one of two things.
1. Change the motor to a single phase motor
2. Buy and install a "Phase Converter" to convert 3 phase to single phase

You size them by amp. draw... the amp. draw will be listed on the motor nameplate...

When you google home made 3 phase converters, you will find many ways to make use of 220v single phase instead, however you are limited as to the hp that the motor will produce. If you spin the motor first then apply 220v, the motor will continue to turn at much reduced hp. You need full power to turn a type 30 pump depending on pulley combination/ setup. Best to return the unit and get one that will run on 220v single phase. It will most likely consume more power to do the same work however it would cost a great deal to install 3 phase. Most likely not even available at all. Many years ago, I worked at Sears and happened to see an electrician coming down from roof access of building. He told me that sears had a 3 phase generator being turned by a 220v single phase motor to run an air conditioning unit. He said that it worked quite well. Does not sound cost effective.

Black & White would both be 115v on a single phase 230 circuit, green would be ground.
