I need some help for my hp fax 1250. I had to send a fax 6 times yesterday for one of the pages to go through to the receiver. There were 5 sheets in the document but the last sheet would not go through. I then sent it separately, sending it upside down, right side up and even copied the paper and resent. Any suggestions or help you can give on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

For a fairly new fax machine, I resent that when a problem arrises you want to sell me an assistance plan. It took a while to even get the answer that I should make the purchase. If the purchase is made what assurance will I have that a solution can be given?

I have hp laserjet 3050 guide me how to connent fax and how to send fax

Sending and receiving faxes by using a computer
This section contains basic instructions for sending faxes by using the software that came with the allin-one. All other software-related topics are covered in the software Help, which can be opened from the software-program Help menu.
NOTE The HP fax software and HP ToolboxFX are not supported for Windows 98 or Windows Me. The HP ToolboxFX software is not supported for Macintosh.
NOTE Receiving faxes by using a computer is not supported for Macintosh.
You can fax electronic documents from your computer if you meet the following requirements:
? The all-in-one is connected directly to your computer or connected to your computer over a TCP/
IP network.
? The all-in-one software is installed on your computer.
? You are using Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP or Mac OS X V10.3 or Mac OS X V10.4.
To send a fax from the software (Windows 2000 or XP)
The procedure to send a fax varies according to your specifications. The most typical steps follow.
1. Click Start, click Programs (or All Programs in Windows XP), and then click Hewlett-Packard.
2. Click HP LaserJet all-in-one, and then click Send fax. The fax software appears.
3. Enter the fax number of one or more recipients.
4. Load the document in the automatic document feeder (ADF) input tray.
5. Include a cover page. (This step is optional.)
6. Click Send Now.
NOTE You can also send a fax from HP ToolboxFX by navigating to the Fax Tasks section
and clicking the Fax Send button.

NEED 2 PROGRAM COVER PAGE

Cover Sheet
You can have the fax machine generate a cover sheet and send it as the last page of your fax transmission. The cover sheet includes the date and time, the receiver's name and number if a Rapid Key or Speed Dial number is used, the sender's name and number, and the total number of pages.
? Your name and number must be programmed in order for them to appear
on the cover sheet (see page 49).
? To have the recipient's name appear, you must dial using a Rapid Key or
Speed Dial number with the name programmed.
1 Load the document(s).
• SEND READY will appear in the display.
• Press RESOLUTION and/or CONTRAST to set the resolution and contrast if needed.
Press Cover Sheet. (Flip up the Rapid Key overlay if it is down.)
• The display will briefly show COVER SHEET MODE ENTERED and then
revert to SEND READY.
• To cancel the cover sheet selection, press STOP.
3 Dial the receiving party and transmit the fax.
If desired, you can set your fax to automatically send a cover sheet with every
transmission (you do not have to press COVER SHEET each time). This is
accomplished by setting Option Setting 10 (Auto Cover Sheet) to YES as
explained on page 125.

No answer when sending fax

The receiving fax machine never answered. Maybe their fax machine is set to MANUAL or is disconnected.

It's not your fax machine that's the problem.

Receiving a fax

It will be a problem with the other ends fax when it sends its stretches out the fax too much and it transmits accross two pages. The other fax is telling your machine to print out accross two pages in the transmission. Older faxes are the worst for it.
