It sounds like the vendor set up only one scan destination. That destination is accessed by other computers on the network. You would have to have to create a different scan destination for each computer if you want to be able to scan documents while that computer is off. This is a link to instructions for doing that.
Make sure that you downloaded the
correct drivers....Etc... (x64) vs (x86) also make sure you have the
proper script # driver ... Etc... #5.1 vs #6. You will want to
completely uninstall all the old drivers, shut down your computer ---
do not just reboot, reinstall all the new drivers,and after your
computer is done rebooting – shut it down and restart. Also make sure that you and the designated file set up on the computer, it needs to know where to scan the document and send it to.
