The idea sim is not functioning due to puk lock i want how to unlock the sim card

PUK lock(Personal Unlocking Key). It's a security feature on most mobile devices that protects your SIM card data and unique for SIM card.

You can also look the back of the SIM pack, the PUK code is written on it. Or call your service provider. When you enter this PUK code it will request for a new code enter code and your phone will come up.

Well there is no universal PUK code available which you punch in and get the phone unlocked. So do not try to punch in PUK codes which your are not sure of in an effort to unlock the phone, because putting the wrong PUK code, ten times in a row will permanently deactivate your SIM card.

A PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) is the code required for enabling/unlocking a sim card. This disabling/lock is a result of erroneously entering the PIN (Personal Identification Number) multiple times. Depending on the SIM card issuer, erroneously entering the PUK code multiple times would result to a permanently blocked/disabled SIM card. The PUK code is an OTW (one time write) only and therefore the only way to open the card is with the PUK code.

In all instances, it has nothing to do with the phone itself but with the SIM card, hence, the LG Vu CU920 would still work with another SIM card.
