Hi i was just wondering how to clean the filter on a fisher and paykel washing machine. when washing clothes the washer doesnt seem to be getting them as clean as they could be and there is always debree left in the bottom of the washer after each load. could there be any other reason for this?

There is no filter to clean on GWL11. There is an optional lit filter that can be installed that goes in-place of the fabric softener cup. I would guess that the reason debree is being left behind is possible due to the over use of soap... This is a high efficiency machine and if you are using the auto water level option it may not be using as much water as you believe it should (or would). The debree get suspended in the soap suds as the should however, there is too many of them and they are not all being rinsed out. You could try using the fabric softener rinse option even if your not using fabric softener this gives it a more traditional rinse like most other top load washers use.

For really soiled clothes like sand and dries mud etc. shake the clothes out first.
