All the outlets and lights in the garage quit working. We know the fuse in the box is working and cannot find a GFI on the circuit. We tested the wires and they appear to be hot. Any ideas?

All newer construction will have a gfci on circuits run outside (including garages) find the gfci it may be under the house. If it's a breaker it needs to be switched off fully then switched on, sometimes breakers have popped but don't show visible signs
Good luck
Most saws have breakers some also have online fuses check it out

Saw just quit.Reset didn`t work,are there fuses?

Are you plugged into a GFI? If so you may need to set the GFI receptacle also plug it into a different plug in and see if that works. In saying that I bought the same one and burnt out the motor in less than one hour from purchase. with not cutting any more than five pieces of pine board. They did replace the saw for me.

What breaker? The GFI on the wall plug?
If so,liquid may have entered the device and tripped the gfi breaker at the wall plug OR the main panel that provides power to that wall plug.

Ryobi 10 inch table saw trips breaker when he turns onRyobi 10 inch table saw trips breaker when you can it on

First of all the saw needs to be plugged in directly to a outlet . NO Extension CORD !!! If it is Right , then Check on the motor label and see how many AMPS the motor is ? You need to then check the Breaker box and make sure the breaker is big enough to handle the load of the motor on the saw . You may have to make sure that the saw is the only thing on that breaker . NO Refrigerator , A/C , ECT.
Also make sure that the motor is clean and not packed full of saw dust . This can over heat the motor and kick off circuit breaker fast .
Good Luck , Hope This Helps !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quit running when I turn the switch on nothing

1- You likely overheated the motor find the small red button on the end of the motor and push it after the motor cools down some
2- You tripped a circuit breaker in the electric panel, go to the panel and look for the breaker that does not line up with the rest of them and move it off then back on.
3- If your outlet has a GFI on it go reset the GFI reset button.

Saw worked fine until today. Kicks breaker withing seconds of starting. both 15 and 20 gfci's kicking within seconds.

What I would check for and follow closely, is UNPLUG tool turn blade by hand to make sure it turns freely, there could be a piece of offcut wood jamming the blade. then turn it on its back or however you can to see about cleaning with compressed air, check the cord condition for breaks if all the above checks out and sounds like you have tried different power sources you have an electrical short and troubleshooting this is involved.

On my fathers c10fl table saw the thermal breaker constantly trips, even under light loads. The saw is only 3 years old and has rarely been used. I have it plugged in directly to a 110/120 volt, 20 amp...

As a Contractor I always bypassed the on board breaker switch cause i found them to be a pain and always trippin. If you are concerned about burning up the motor i would just install an inline breaker like a GFI outlet. Please give a 4 thumbs up if you have found this free answer helpful. Good Luck and have a Great Day.

Have an old Black and Decker 7321 Skill Saw. Bought it used. Cant figure out how to change the blade. Help

With the saw UNPLUGGED, check around the base of the motor shaft, there should be some kind of button that you can depress to lock the blade from turning. Then with the appropriate sized wrench, turn the blade locking bolt clockwise (it is a backward thread) to loosen it. Then simply remove the washers, etc carefully and replace them the same way they came off. If there is no locking button, you can use a scrap piece of wood on the saw table and push down on the blade to lock it in place.

I have a skill table saw model 3400 type 2. The

I would check to see that ID of the blade arbor matches the OD of the motor arbor, and you are not missing an adapter ring. Then I would get some acetone and a wire brush clean all surfaces where the blade seats. This is also good practice for Jacobs chucks on drills, that allow the drill bits to spin.
