Moving home resulted in our loosing the AC adapter for our Grundig YB 400 PE, any sugestions where we could aquire a replacement?

its a 9V power supply
you should try Radio shack take with you the the radio to make sure the power supply have the correct connector

Grundig yacht boy 400 radio does not work with mains operations

I had the same problem. Examined the wire from the transformer,and found a break. Repair of the wire solved the problem. WLD

YB 550 PE

When radio is first turned on, it goes into "sleep" mode that you can set between 1 min to 2 hrs. (You'll see the number on the screen). If you hold the "on" button longer, you'll see (yb-550) on the screen and the radio will remain on until you turn it off.

No am radio

You realize that the MW is the AM stations....I don't know
why they didn't just put AM on the band select...
Also I could not get MW (AM) on my set once and the
reason was that it was too close to my laptop...
It was interfering with the radio.....
