I bought a verizon lg vx10000? anyhow i bought it from a friend and he gave me all the necesary cables for it and i tried to sinc things to and from the computer onto my phone but it cant seem to find the programs needed for that so if anyone can tell me where to download the software so that i can sinc music and stuff onto my phone that would be nice =]

All Verizon phones default lock code is the last 4 digits of the cell number. If that doesn't work, then your friend must have changed it....only he knows, or if he's forgotten it, then you'll have to take to a Verizon store to unlock it.
No, the VX10000 is CDMA and does not use SIM cards. Verizon Wireless uses CDMA as their service and this works without using the SIM card, and for the most part, would be USA only. AT&T and T-Mobile use GSM. GSM service uses SIM cards and you can usually switch to another SIM card and switch to another service very easily. But not on Verizon phones and not on the VX10000.
