Do you know the best sorce to purchase a USB for the SVP CDC-7530 camera> THANKS

  • kakima May 16, 2011

Have you considered NOT buying a USB cord? The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Even if you have to buy a card reader, it won't cost you any more than a USB cable.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

You can purchase a card reader/USB cable for the SVP CDC here. I tend to lose camera cables quite easily and purchase a lot of them from this site.

How do I download internal memory of my SVP CDC-7580 camera?

the video output slot serves as a connection point for usb info transfer. you need a cord that's standard usb on one end and the same slot as the camera port on the other. once you plug it up it will automatically be recognized on your computer
