Our power went out last night for about 30 minutes and when it came back on, my computer won't turn on. The green light on the back of the power supply is blinking, but I get nothing when I push the power button.
I turned the electric off to change a wall light and forgot my PC wasn't shut down properly, when I tried to start it up the power lights flash it beeps twice then nothing! Having researched a little it seems the problem may be somthing to do with memory parity error! (whatever that is!) now worried how much it's gonna cost to fix!!!
I have the same problem. Checked all connections. Power strip is working. Front power light and back light are both flashing.

I have a pavilion 600, I powered the computer down and moved it to a new location in the house. When I went to plug it back in it would not power up. The fans don't run, but the back light near the power plug blinked green and the front power button blinked blue. PLEASE help me find a solution.

I was moving the furniture around and shut down my CPU so i could move it and unplugged the power then when i plugged it back in the back light underneath the power cord plugin flashes but i can not turn it on please please tell me what happened or if anyone found out what wrong O.o save me!
I had to turn off and unplug the power to my Compaq S0000/8000 in order to solve a router problem. Plugged everything back in but the modem does not power up. A green light is flashing on the back of the modem. All leads and plugs have been checked. Now what? Considering taking the modem to PC World as a last desperate measure.
