This is a very simple fix. I bought fuses at Radio Shack and have to replace one every 6 months or so. Just lay the TV on a towel or something on its face. Pull the screws out of the back - all the way around the edge and a couple on the top of the input/output panel. Trace the power cord to where it attaches to the circuit board and next to it you will see the fuse.
Replace fuse, put it back together and it should work.

you have a fusible link that has blown. This is what causes the convergence option no be erased from the menu. You will need to locate the blown link and replace it. They are identified by FLpreceeding the location number on the circuit board such FL221 and etc.

RCA 32V430T 32" won't turn on!

The fuse is inside the set and is probably ok, but check to be sure. If you have an ohm meter I would check the horizontal output transistor first. It is a big transistor on a heat sink next to the FBT. It has three pins, check the center pin to one of the others, if low the transistor and probably the FBT is bad.

NO POWER, Yes blown fuse.

Was this the 220 ohm in the power supply??? and if the 5 amp blew right away then it probably took out the bridge rectifyer with the power surge that comes alog with hurricane damage to the power lines as I used to live in florida and repaired lots of sets damaged from storms!! After you check the bridge rectifyers I would start looking to find any other shorts. First measure across the ac line with the fuse replaced but not plugedf in . If its shorted check what I mentioned before if its good after you replace the shorted parts you maybe in luck. need more assistance go to sams photo facts download a schematic and we will trouble shoot this together if you post it here so i can look at it. good luck
