Got a magnifica coffee maker and want to use ground coffee but the results are not good , can you explain how to use it properly . thaks

How are results not good? Flavor or operation? For flavor experiment with different grinds from coarse to fine. If the unit does not work, try inserting less grounds as overfilling it, the machine will just dump it all out

How can I avoid bitter coffee?

If the water that comes into contact with the coffee grounds is too hot, you will extract bitter elements from the coffee. The water should not be boiling when poured on the coffee grounds. Coffee oils, fats and sediment are the natural parts of the coffee bean that causes bitterness by forming as the brew ages. The longer the coffee sits the stronger it tastes.

What types of flavored coffee can I get online?

Coffee comes in a wide variety of flavors from vanilla and chocolate to various fruits and spices. I came across a great site for flavored coffee with the widest range of flavors I have ever seen - I recommend giving the site a visit.

Why does is the term mocha used to describe coffee with chocolate?

Nowadays, if you order a mocha, you will get a coffee/chocolate flavored drink. This came about from the origins of the mocha bean. Mocha coffee beans are traditionally grown in Yemen, in the port of Mocha. These beans have a slight aroma and flavor of chocolate - hence the name today.

Why is the trimmer head smoking/melting?

I think the melting is in your the head the feed that hods the line. That's the plastic bit. I have had this happen not just with one brand either. The problem is vibration. if things are not properly balanced the head vibrates, the resulting friction causes heat, that causes more wear and more heat. End of strimmer head! I not buy them two at a time on ebay!

I clean with rice and it grinds coffee beans. Then I have to grind moRE RICE TO GET IT TO GRIND COFFEE AGAIN

Instead of rice, fill container about half full with regular table sugar. Grind that for 10-20 seconds. You should not only get coffee flavored powdered sugar but the sugar will soak up the flavors from your grinder.
Then simply clean as you normally would. Works great!

The V-Spresso burr grinder gums up using flavored coffee beans. How can I clean it out?

Hi
Its not a good idea to use flavored coffee in any grinder that will grind fine. They contain sugars and chemicals that will gum up all good grinders. Use an unflavored, preferably light roast cheap if you can get it. Set your grinder on very coarse ( largest number) and make a couple coffees. This is how to clean any good grinder. Once you have ground through the chea[p stuff. you can put you beans (not flavored) and use the 3 cup to drink. That way the cheap beans will not be used in your coffee. Don't put a lot of cheap beans in the grinder. A couple of handfuls is all that is needed.
