There is no way to get back your saved data after reformatting the PS3's HDD. In the future it is highly suggested that you create a backup of your data before reformatting, this can be done through the settings on your PS3.

Sorry for the bed news...

hopefully I was of some help

Hi i get an error code of 8001050f when i go to play my video games can you tell me how to fix it so i can play my games

go to the play stations web site to find out what the code means.

if your ps3 has a message of trophy registration error sony will say you need to turn in your ps3 for service this is not true i fixed mine by saving my game data on a thumbstick then deleted the game save data shut off my ps3 then turned the main power (the switch in the back) off for a few minutes to allow the power to dissipate. Then i restarted the ps3 copied my game save data back and my COD modern warfare 2 played like a champ!
i did lose all of my trophies but the game saved data allowed for 12 percent of them to come back apon completing one special op mission.

What does this falt code mean? 8002291A and how do i fix it?

Trophy Error 8002291AIt thinks that you are using a save file that no longer matches the trophy data. Essentially your save file or the trophy data is corrupted and no longer accessible. Usually, you just need to wait for the game to update.

If that doesn't work.

Easy fix, delete your saves...hard fix, try and fix the corrupted data.

My playstation 3 turns off every time i go to load a game film ect, but it will stay on the home screen al day can anyone help me

Hi

Best this to do is a PS3 full reset, but make sure you back up your game data
Here's what to do:
1. Take disk out.
2. Back Up save data.
3. Back up general data using PS3s backup Utility.
4. Sync Trophies.

Now to do the ps3 reset

Hard Reset procedure for the PS3 (from Sony CS). Be sure to backup your settings/games saves by doing a System > Backup on your PS3 or you may lose your game saves! Also, this is a last resort procedure prior to exchanging/returning to sony.
1. Power Off the PS3 via the power switch in back and power back on w/switch.
2. Hold Power Button on the Front until you hear 3 beeps.
3. Then go through the initial setup and then run a full format via System > Format. (will take approx 3 1/1 hours). You may need to have our AV cables ready if your using HDMI (in case HDMI isn’t detected after initial reset).
4. Restore your backup you made prior to doing factory/hard reset (optional, if you created a backup).

let me know how it goes.

For some reason i cant log in to yhe ps network cause its not recogniseing my e-mail address and ive used that address always

There is a temporary hickup in the PS3 network. Collectively from all of the articles i've read on this, they strongly advise you not to use your PS3 until the issue is resolved. They say it's the Clock settings that were messed up. For some reason PS3 Slims were uneffected; this caused some gamers loss of trophies, loss of in-game data, and network failure. I cannot even log into my PS3 network, so i've been off of it for the last 3 days. Supposedly the issue is fixed and if you have lost trophies there are ways to restore them; I haven't been able to get on yet so I couldn't tell you if it's fully resolved yet. Just google the PS3 Network issue every so often to see how far they've gotten with a resolution.

Please let me know if i've helped you, and if they have resolved it please give me a heads up. Good Luck!

Respectfully,

Don

I have the80022D11 in the ps3 what to do

Once this occurs, trying to load a save file for a game that supports trophies will give you the option to either start over (wipe the save file) or sync trophies (which fails). At this point trophies will no longer work and save game files for any game that supports trophies will no longer load. The only work around at this point is to delete your PS3 user account (not to be confused with your PSN user account) and create a new one (which you can link to your existing PSN account). Once this is done your trophies will sync, but you will lose all your saved games. If you try to restore any saved games you made before doing this, the error will occur again. The problem appears to be triggered if the user changes his/her email address or password using the XMB account management tools. So until Sony fixes this problem, users should not change their PSN email address or password.

My ps3 says error 8001050f when i log on, how can i fix it so that i can log on

Here’s what’s going on right now: something with the PS3’s internal clock has borked in some pre-slim models. This is not a PSN issue; it has to do with your PS3’s clock. This clock is NOT related to the OS clock. It seems to be a leap year bug. Setting your clock ahead will do nothing. All PS3s around the world were affected at the exact same time.
Does this affect me?
-If you have a Slim PS3, you’re good to go. Continue playing it as normal.
-If you have a “fat” PS3, you may be affected. Some fat PS3s have worked ok, but it seems a good majority have been bugged.
What does this bug mean?
-If affected, your date and time has been set to a random past date. This prevents you from signing into PSN, playing any PSN games, or using any DLC. Your trophies will also not display correctly or be able to sync.
How do I fix it?
-You can’t. Even if you don’t sign into PSN, it won’t help. This is a hardware issue.
So, what do I do?
-Wait 24 hours. Other products that have had similar bugs have corrected themselves after the “bugged” day. On Monday around 6pm central time, all PS3s will automatically correct themselves…maybe.
-If that doesn’t work, we’ll need a firmware update from Sony, which should be a pretty important priority for them right now.
Did I lose my data/themes/etc?
Your save data/games/dlc/themes are fine. They’ll be fixed when the PS3 is fixed. Trophies are uncertain right now, but they’ll be fine if you’ve synced them before the PS3 was bugged. Unsynced trophies are an unknown right now.
If I have a bugged PS3, can I still use it?
It’s probably not a good idea, as I have no idea what will happen to the trophies you earn during the bugged time. Movies/media will work fine.

A ps3 start up frezee

finally !! solved the problem :)

unfortunately the story has not the best ending ...
i had an old non-working laptop with 80Gb hdd.

I took the PS3's hdd out and replaced it with the laptop's one. Playstation did not recognize the file system and suggested to format the hard drive. Formatting was done in 10 seconds, after that system rebooted and logon screen appeared again :)

all saves from games, all music, pictures, videos and downloaded stuff are lost :(

fortunately you can re-download all purchased games from PS-Network for free.

now I have a 80Gb PS3 istead of 60Gb ..

hope this will help you too.

P.S. i've seen that Linux has support of PS3 file system. maybe this will help to restore all saved data.. but this is just my assumption
