I have a pair of Comtrend 8902 which have been working well for a couple of years. However, as of last Saturday, the AP LEDs are all flashing red. Holding down the standby button does stop the flashing, but release of button lets them go again. Pressing config/reset button, or holding it down has not effect. The EP is solid red .. but then it would be without the EP. I have found nothing in the user guide to indicate a solution. - if, indeed, there is one. Any advice would be welcome. Possibly coincidentally, my wireless router also stopped working, although I believe I have now resolved that, after working on the config management.

I don't have those particular ones, but I have added more units to an existing pair of powerline adaptors. They are not paired, but simply configured onto the network you have set up. Once you have the initial pair set up it should be possible to add as many others individually as you need.
hope ths helps...

What if the speed LEDs on the VR2/VSI begin to flash?

  • Determine if the battery charger is connected to the power base. When the battery charger is connected to the power base, a charger inhibit feature keeps the power chair from driving. This is indicated by the VR2/VSI speed
    LED(s) flashing.
  • Determine if the charger harness fuse has blown. A blown charger fuse can cause the charger inhibit to
    activate.
  • Determine if all controller connections are plugged into the power base properly. If the 3-pin charger
inhibit connector is not plugged in properly, then the charger inhibit feature will activate.

How do you put this bluetooth in discovery mode?

Firstly, your headset must be turned off. Then, press the call control (or multi-function) button until the blue and red leds flash alternatively. Then, make the device you want to pair your headset with search for devices. Select your headset (its name will be shown). If a passkey (or PIN or pairing code), enter '0000' (four zeros). Bear in mind that your headset is kept in pairing mode (the blue and red leds flashing) for a couple of minutes only. If you, somehow, miss the pairing procedure during such a period, you'll have to start it over.
Hope it works for you.
Cheers! Carlos

Telephone company installed Comtrend CT-301 modem. Recently having connection issues with computer and noticed RED alert light coming on frequently on modem. What is causing these problems?

I've seen bulging capacitors inside this modem causing me problems. Changed the caps and everything was OK for a couple of years after that. Started to have more problems with this modem recently, called phone company and sent me an new modem. Problem solved.
Also, it seems this old modem does not like the newer routers (D-Link DIR-615). It connected for a while, (30 seconds) then lost connection completely until power was cycled on model. The modem worked OK with older D-Link Router.

One flashing red light on xbox360 ( not red ring)

The specific type of hardware failure can be determined by a "hidden" error code
Turn the xbox 360 on, and wait till the 3 red lights are flashing.
Press and hold the sync up button (the small white one), while holding that button press the eject button.
The LEDs will now blink the first number in the code (as described below).
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will now blink the second number of the code.
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will now blink the third number of the code.
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will now blink the forth number of the code.
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will go back to the 3 red flashing lights.
You should be able to determine the difference between the 3 flashing lights and the error code lights by the rate in which they flash.
Here is how you interpret the LEDs to get the code number:
All four lights flashing - 0
One light flashing - 1
Two Lights flashing - 2
Three lights flashing - 3

Once you get this code, go to: http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=484726
To get the reason for the code.

I have 2 comtrend dh-10pf powerline adapters. one of the adapters status is a red flashing light and the AP light and the Ethernet light are blank. the second powerline adapter has a solid red status...

Hi,
To start you need to factory reset both adapters,
plug them both into a wall socket next to each other, press the config/f reset button, hold in until ap light goes off, repeat on the other one.
Now you should have a red status light on both.
Press the config/f reset button on one for about 5 seconds, wait until ap light stays on, this one is now your access point (ap) that should be plugged in to your router when you have finished config.
Now press the ap adapter config button again for about 5 seconds until ap light flashes, then press the config button on the other adapter until ap light flashes, wait until they both stop flashing, wait a few seconds, the status light on both adapters should be green, and one adapter should have an amber ap light.
Hope this helps.
