I have an acer aspire 5920G laptop.My wireless network adapter stopped working,and a message showing No DeviceI, tried to fix the problem but to no avail.My wireless broadband was working good before that,but now i have to stay connected to my modem.Your help and advice will be most welcome.Thanks

1st check to make sure that the wireless adapter shows up in the decice manager. then check your network adapters to verify the system still sees the wireless network adapter.

The acer manual talks about the ways to turn it off in the acer software as well as by the button http://www.nodevice.com/user_manual/download_324027.html page 32 talks about windows mobility centre and has a function to turn off wireless
page 44shows buttons down the left hand side - one has a symbol like a satellite dish - this enables/disables the wireless adapter If none of these work then likeley the wireless adapter in the laptop has died and if you want an internal wireless you will have to have it replaced or go to a external usb type of adapter.
