It had been working erratically for two cooking events, and it failed (stopped cooking) on the last occasion.
I found the thermostat had failed (open circuit), and 2 loose connections in the controller switch, which had been causing the intermittent operation.
I have fixed the switch and so I have requested schematic wiring diagram and parts list, hoping to get details to replace the faulty thermostat.
Yours hopefully, Jack Atkins.Hi Bluechip 999, I'm not jlat747 and my problem is not a Salton MJ6SCOSS.
I am [email protected] and my cooker is a George Foreman GFSC 35.

The link the I sent is service manual for GFSC35. It was because you have stated that "I need a service manual or schematic..." I don't have schematic. Sorry.

Hi, This is FixYa.com, not George Foreman's site. So no recipe book here. That said, you can find recipes on the GF's site: http://www.georgeforemancooking.com/blog/category/recipes/
I wonder if this product was returned and the person who had it before didn't put back the book. Did you ask the seller if you could exchange it? Or maybe you can call them and ask for the book: http://www.georgeforemancooking.com/t-customersupport.aspx
Do a Google search for your cooker and find a parts dealer that can replace yours. Or go to Home Depot/Lowes and see if they have a generic one that will work. Take the lid with you.
