My sony psp 2001 wont connect to my internet connection. My mom has set up a connection and it works for my dads laptop, but when I try to connect, it says " A Connection error has occured.A connection to the access point could not be established. Check the security settings for the net wok and try again. " I have checked everything and it still wont work.

Turn WLAN switch on/off, and try again if it doesn't workscan for your network connection.
make a new connection.
and delete the old one
and try the new one.

if you are getting this internet connection from home ask mom and dad
if your getting this from your next door neighbor tell mom and dad to pay them for it
my lil brother has one and he takes it back and forth between his dads and our moms house still works fine. if you have the ps3 hooked up to the internet you can go to the online gide to help you with the psp to ps3 connection.
all you need is a wireless router somewhere close by. you need to go to the internet search icon and find it, then connect. this should be about it. if it wont connect make sure the WLAN switch is on otherwise i see this working no problem
You need to have a wireless router connected to an adsl/adsl+2/dsl/cable modem it wont work with dialup once you have the wireless router connected to the modem you can select automatic settings under internet connection or something similar to that name
