Map probem My roadmate shows a map with countries and not the current location. It does show the current street on top and the street for the next turn on the bottom.It just started doing this.

Sometimes it will not all the streets, especially main streets, unless is zoomed in, try the zoom feature in and out, or three 3 d or 2 d feature.

Under the change preferences general menu, use the right arrow to go to the 4th page (4/8) and tap the Street Name preferences. Then put a check mark in the boxes Show Street names, Show next Street name, and Show current name on map.
Press Done, twice.
As some menu options may be hidden, the Street name preferences option may be on some other page..

From Change Preferences, select Street Name Preferences.

Make sure the box for "show current street name on map" is checked.

charge it up for a few hours, then take it outside and start your 3100, then get a paper clip and depress the reset on the left side near the bottom of your 3100 to reset it and let it restart, then wait for a while (could take up to 30 minutes after a reset) and let it acquire/lock on to the satellites. that should fix it, but if it doesnt, let me know and ill tell you what to do next.

P/N for the full coverage map SD card is 600369. That's what I have and it works no problems.

i use to own a 700, i advise you to get the new magellan mastreo 4000 or higher,i did my research and the magellan700 roadmate is no longer being serviced.that is what the magellan website has had showed and someone on here also has said it and they start to have alot of problems.i own now a mastreo 4000 so far so good no problems.
