Samsung Front Loader Washer Out of Control

I just bought a Samsung Silvercare and it shook violently the first time on spin

  • Anonymous Sep 25, 2008

Our new Samsung front load washer also shoot violently in the spin cycle.  It literally "walked" across the laundry room.  After paying twice what my Maytag top load machine cost I was really upset.  I read the comment about removing the screws and now it works like a charm.  Thanks!

Make sure you take out the 4 srews in the back of the washer .
This is only to hold the drum in place when it is transported to you

Remove them and you should not have a problem.

This info is only for front loaded wahers and not dryers or top loaded washers

Samsung Silvercare Front loader working fine yesterday. Today there is no lights to the dial. There is power to the cord.

Try unplugging the unit for a few minutes. After plugging it back in and the power still doesn't come on, you will need to replace the control board.

Just bought the Bosche Axxis front loader. When the spin cycle kicks in, the machine wobbles/shakes/wanders VIOLENTLY from side to side. Is it the installation or the machine?

I bought the Bosch 8Kg washing machine on 8th Feb, I had the same problem.

Read installation instructions, you need to remove transport safety nuts from the back.

My washing machine spins violently and the ground

Possibly you still have the transport screws in. this causes havoc when load is in. or very unballanced load or possibly spring come loose . assuming you have a front loader. Definately one of those.

Samsung P801 Front Loader shakes violently during spin cycle.

When the washer goes into spin cycle it is suppost to start at a slow speed and continue to increase speed (to a maximum of 800 RPM) as the water leaves the clothes. Your washer is going directly to 800 RPM which causes the washer to shake and stop giving you the E4 code. The control board that controls this speed increase must be replaced.

Washer is shaking violently when it is time for the spin cycle

Hi you must make sure its level in all directions. ie front to back and side to side. Alos dont overload it. If its on a wooden floor it will vibrate. A concrete floor is the best

Shook Violently first time on spin cycle

Make sure the washer is leveled properly and all four feet are resting on the floor. If it is level, try running one cysle without any clothes in it to see it is spins without that violent shaking.. you may have also had an out of balance load.. Hope that helps!

Samsung Silvercare hums, but does not run

FIXED!!!! amen. Attached to the back of the washer was a plastic bag with a tech spec pamphlet. Inside the pamphlet were instructions for running tests via the front control panel on the various cycles to weed out the problem -- fill, spin, drain, etc. The test failed on the draining section citing a problem with the drain pump. So long story short and MANY towels later, I found a small finishing nail in the motor. I had removed the hoses thinking there might be a blockage, but found nothing. So I removed the motor and washed it out. Nothing odd there. So I took the front off the motor and found the nail. It somehow made it through the drain holes in the washer drum but got stuck in the motor.  Thank you Samsung for taping the tech manual to the back of the washer. I could not find it anywhere on the web for this model. After discovering the testing available via the contol panel and the simplicity of the machine, I love Samsung.
