Well, I have a Sony Cyber-Shot with 6.0 mega pixels, I don't know if that info matters, but anyways, I can't seem to take pictures. Actually I can still take pictures, but the image doesn't come in and then it's not good colors. Like the colors that appear are sometimes red-ish white or blue-ish white with like a black line that also happens to appear. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP?!?!?!?!

Well, I have a Sony Cyber-Shot with 5.1 mega pixels, I don't know if that info matters, but anyways, I can't seem to take pictures. Actually I can still take pictures, but the image doesn't come in and then it's not good colors. Like the colors that appear are sometimes red-ish and very very unsharp.

i.m sorry to hear your camera lcd screen is broken. for the dscw80 as posted (although this unit is 7.2MP only) cost $91 for out of warranty repairs. now since you' had mentioned that your cam is 12.1MP it could very well be a different camera.check this website for correct repair cost amount: https://eservice.sony.com/webrma/web/index.do
just to inform you this is what we call a flat rate amount, so it's the minimal cost for the repair. if sony finds out the issue is cost by accidental, physical, impact damage or caused by misuse or mishandling of unit, the repair cost will go higher than the flat rate amount and even if your still covered by the manufacturer's warranty, this would void it. come to think of it, it seems it's much better getting a new camera than to have it repaired if this is the case, and most of the time it's just uneconomical to repair. hope this info answered your question.thanks.
Skip using the camera for downloading and use a card reader instead. A lot of troubles will be eliminated. A card reader is not expensive. A card reader can be found in most electronic stores or on a site such as Ebay.
Yes you can download the user manual for the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-w110. It is on Sonys website and in many lanuages. The easy way to find it is to Google search, Sony DSC w110 and look for a sony website link in the first few results. There is an option on the sony page to download the user manual.
Try to right click on the image files while they are read on the memory card or on the camera hard-wired to your computer. Click on copy then click on your desktop of your computer to paste them. They may just be creating short-cuts rather than placing the file onto your computer.
Try a transfer to a computer or whatever you usually do with the media to determine if the photos themselves are affected or if it is just the camera display. If the photos look ok then we will know that it is the display and you could just live with it. I know of no way to repair the display cheaper than replacing the camera in most cases. If the photos are off in color it may be the settings in tha camera. Try to return to default settings (usually an option) or fiddling with them (usually set at zero or the center of a slide)
When I turn my Syber shot 6.0 mega pixels on it shows only a white or dark display. The fotos taken are the same. It seems that something is not opening the lens. What is the problem and how can I fix it?
