Check that you have not muted the sound on your mobile by going into your phones menu then settings then sounds. Check that mute is not on. Also there could be a fault on the network but it is more than likely you have 'muted' the incoming calling signal. If you can change it per caller, check under your contacts that there is no restrictions there.

My new Hp Officejet j3680 caller ID is not working... All the phones in the house display the incoming phone numbers except the j3680. I wonder why?!! it shows instead ringing!!!

The caller ID phone having the tip & ring detection circuit to detect the incoming phone number, but in this model doesn't have tip & ring detection circuit to display other phone number but after connecting the other fax it will read the information which was stored like company name & phone number of other one..

We have 3 phones in the house. I want caller ID on each of them. Called AT&T and caller ID appears on only one phone - UNIDEN in the kitchen. Phone on same floor AT&T in living room and AT&T...

unplug the one that gets caller ID and one more. Do you get caller ID on the remaining phone?
Caller ID is sent between the first and second ring, as well as the second and third ring. It may be that the other phones require that 2nd Caller ID signal and you've answered it elsewhere.

I am assuming that the other phones have a display and are Caller ID capable phones.
Can you post the model numbers of the phones that don't get Caller ID? We can then try to locate a user guide for them.

Sincerely,
Mark

My caller id is not showing name or number of the

Since CID display to the phone comes from the Panasonic phone SYSTEM, you might try looking inside the cabinet to see if it has a caller ID card. The part ends in 93.

It also requires some programming. If you post your model number, I might have a CID card if yours is missing.

Caller ID

Since it appears by default, I'm guessing that the phone is not ringing. It has to ring to display CID. You need to make sure that it is part of an ICD group with Immediate ring.

Caller id recall

To redisplay the Caller Id Number, press the Line button again.Caller ID Scrolling is possible if you have a MIF-F(C)-10 card in the system and you have a Scroll key programmed on the phone. If you need further assistance, let me know.

# of rings

Hi Sharon,
The rings you hear when dialing your phone number is a machine in the local telephone office that is in place so you have something to listen to while your call is being processed and not your actual phone ringing, also the caller ID requires one to two ring cycles to gather the information it displays on your screen therefore the amount of rings you hear when calling a number rarely matches the actual number of rings at the phone you are calling. There is no programming in the Samsung 100 to change this as it is controlled by your local phone company. Hope this helps explain the situation, Good Luck

Caller ID

Even at its factory defaults your Siemens handset should be showing the caller id after the second ring. Look at your time and date on the phone, if they are not accurate then the caller id signal is not coming through since when activated caller id will not only give you the caller information, but it syncs with the telephone companys clock too. If I were there, I would take a phone that is known to have its caller id working and plug it in your line and see if caller id shows up on it. If it does show caller id, then there is something wrong with your Siemens base. If it does not, then your phone company dropped the ball and caller id is not activated. Then I would take the Siemens phone to another line (neighbor or friend) that has working caller id and plug my Siemens into it and see if it shows up. Doing all that will isolate your problem, I guarantee it.
