You can of course just use any lid from a casserole dish that will fit! Even one from a saucepan! No need to spend good mony on one, as you may then find this 30 odd year old item may conk out! (Ours is still going strong, too!! lol)

SOURCE: Need new glass lid for my Pifco Slow cooker model

Hello Philip. Your slow cooker is from England and the only company I know of that carries parts is this one. Go to this link and you can either order the part or ask the company to locate the part for you. http://www.mastersparesonline.com/

Where can I get a glass lid for my pifco 4851 slow cooker

Wow, Pifco is a name I haven't heard of in a long time. I had a Pifco torch as a kid in the 1960s. The lid is Corningware, so order by size and it should fit fine.

Broken pifco 4851 3 ltr basin

The original pot should be a 3 quart white Corningware A-3-B with a clear Pyrex A-9-C lid. The modern equivalent in a 3 litre pot, both are available in the USA where they are made. Search 'Corningware A-3-B' for what's available.

Need lid for sanyo slow cooker esc 450

When my lid was accidently broken years ago I found a heavy glass saucepan lid at a second hand shop that fitted it. A lid off a casserole dish of similar size would work just as well. Ensure you measure the inside width dimensions without lip and then including lip so you find a lid with a secure fit. Good luck.

Believe or not, go to your local Goodwill Store! They have tons of crocks and the lids and the cookers separate frm each other that have been donated becase one of the pieces was broken and they donated the rest of the pieces. Lids and crocks typically range from $1.99 to $5.99 and you benefit your community at the same time.
