Normally the remote control has a button with the name Subtitles press the key for turn Off.However you must sure if the TV has Turn ON the captioning.God bless you
I can't get my VBR334 to keep subtitles ON. After I turn on subtitles, if I (a) pause playback, (b) hit the Next button or (c) Fast Forward, the subtitles go away. I have spent many cell minutes with Vizio and even got a replacement unit. Once I updated the firmware, the subtitles started breaking. Anyone else hit this problem?
Check the settings on whatever viewer you are using; that's where you'll find closed caption or second language selections (if available on the download).
