Hello. I have one of these phones and mostly love it... However, lately, 4 out of 5 phone calls that I receive causes the phone to turn off. When I discover it and turn the phone back on, the call does not appear in the "Missed" log - although voice mail eventually comes through when left.
Re: When a phone call comes in, the phone turns off.
The call is most likely triggering a short or an electrical problem that causes your phone to turn off and also not have enough time to log the call in its memory. You should probably take it to your local service provider.

Perform a hard reset on the phone: Turn phone off. hold reject call button, answer call button , camera button and turn on. keep holding untill the nokia hands show then just follow the original setup. Make sure u back everything up as it will all be lost.
I don't think so, because there are lot of factors why your phone receives late text messages, one is coverage of the service provider and outage. try using sim card on a different phone and then check if its doing the same thing. one factor is if your phone can't pickup that good signal then chances are message will come in late, try texting your own mobile number using the 11 digit dialing patern or put 1 before your number.
hello shaziniaz how to use your call waiting function is when you are on a call or when you are talking to someone on your phone there will be a beeping sound in your ear just tell the person you are talking with to hold on, and must look if the a call coming in you will see hold and answer you put the person on hold and then press answer and talk with person and call waiting after you finish you press back hold and talk back to the person you was talking with before. thank have a lovely day
If you have a Panasonic Voice Mail system, you can set it up in your mailbox options. Since Panasonic made/makes several voice mail systems, it's better if you know which one, but try option 4 then 1 then 2 to turn on call screening. When a user calls in and keys that mailbox, you get the lovely "record your name at the tone" prompt. Pretty friendly, huh?
On the base, to turn the ringer off, press and hold Volume Down [V] until the unit beeps 2 times. On the handset you can use the menu to turn off ring. This way, you can choose to receive and take the urgent calls.
HOLD THE HANG UP BUTTON AND THE POUND BUTTON DOWN FOR 5 secons. select base unavailable....yes. then hang it up on the base and it will register to the base. if that doesn't work then unplug the base then plug it back in then put the reciever on the base.
